Interlibrary Loan
Interlibrary Loan is a service provided to library patrons seeking books not held in our system. Patrons must have a valid library card and are limited to three active requests at any given time. Requests may be made by phone or in person and take approximately 2 weeks to process and receive.
Interlibrary Loan is provided free of charge unless indicated by the lending library. However, the patron does pay the postage to return the item.
It should be noted that few libraries will lend genealogical materials on interlibrary loan, but we can request books from those that do. Other items not usually loaned are books less than six months old, very rare volumes and video tapes.
